The Gavist affiliate program allows mutual linkbacks between Gavist's sites and affiliated sites. Affiliations can be simple or negotiated partnerships.
Simple Partnership
Simple partnerships are just that - simple. You link our banner and we link yours. Affiliate banners are shown on the index page. If you wish to affiliate with us, please use one of the approved affiliate images located at the bottom of this document and link back to the site with which you request affiliation.
Once you have linked our image and URL, please contact us with a request for simple affiliation. Include the URL that we are linked from, the URL you wish us to link to, and an 88x31 image that we can display for the affiliate link. We will verify all affiliate links monthly; if our link disappears then so will yours. Gavist also reserves the right to deny any affiliation that presents a conflict of interest or is not in the best interest of our community. If your affiliate request is denied, we will respond stating that it was denied and requesting that our link be removed from your site.
Affiliate Requiremets
You must have at least 750 members and 25,000 posts - effective as of 26 September 2008. Existing affiliates that do not meet this requirement will not be removed.
We will not affiliate with:
► Guild Websites (exceptions apply)
► Generic Forums (not MMO related)
► Sites that does not have a top level domain (.com, .net etc)
► Forums that do not meet the above activity criteria
Negotiated Partnerships
Publisher Affiliations
Gavist has now developed a program for game publisher affiliations. Please note that this option is only available for game publishers; fan sites and other potential affiliates will need to use one of the preceding two options. Here's what we will offer to publishers for affiliation:
- A linkback image to either your publisher's portal or game-specific portal (your choice) that appears on all content pages, forum indexes, and forum views.
- Purchasing cash shop items to be given away in our events. We currently have 3 events that run monthly, one that runs weekly, and plan other non-periodic events from time to time. The amount that we buy will be negotiated
- Linkback and advertising on any event we run where we've purchased your products as a prize
- Gavist's quality management of our game feature sections, fan forums, and community wiki
- Linkbacks to the Gavist site that best suits your game audience using an approved affiliate image. If we do not have an affiliate image that fits your site we will create one. If you wish us to theme our affiliate images for your game, we can arrange that as well
- Promotion of our events in which we have purchased your products to give as prizes
Please note, these criteria are guidelines and not firm. We will discuss each case separately and try to arrive at a mutually beneficial agreement for both entities.

Gavist Affiliate Logo
Please do not hotlink our affiliate banner directly. We've had several instances of image theft recently and have adopted a new Image Hotlinking Policy. The results will not be what you expect if you hotlink the affiliate banner.
